How to make special effects cuts:

The Finished look:



First you want to layer the skin with primer, tissue paper or toilet paper and glue from a non-toxic glue stick or PVA and foundation. I have used toilet paper because it is thinner and looks more like skin when covered, I am also using a darker foundation to cover up the paper:


Do this for both sides of the cut and use fake blood colour the cut: 



Layer the skin up with more glue and foundation. Then layer the sides of the cut with cotton wool and layer with more foundation: 


Put black face/body paint into the center of the cut, then layer with another peace of paper: 


Cover with another layer of foundation that is a little lighter and orange to make the cut look like it has been left for a few days and is going bad: 


Using more fake blood place it so that it looks like the blood has started to run out of the cut: 


Using brown and white face/body pain on the face to give it at dirty and pale faced close to dead affect:
